John Philip Beck Kentucky Long Rifle (Lancaster County, PA) Second Example
Another recreation of a fine J.P. Beck rifle. I have reproduced this rifle many times. Having had the opportunity to view the original J.P. Beck rifle in a friend's personal collection helps tremendously in ensuring correct and accurate recreation, and enabling me to make the springs and catches of the patch box same as the original in every detail. Beck was known to use both straight or rounded butt stocks. I can produce either based on the client's request.
